To help with production, I began sketching and noting any vital parts or ideas for the product. This included a rough design of logos, videos and the overall storyboards.

For an initial storyboard, I sketched the intro and how I would want it to play out. I have only sketched a few scenes and for the purpose of prototyping, these have been reduced time wise to simplified scenes.
You will be shown and intro and then prompted to choose your desired house. Once the house has been chosen, a splash screen will show to simulate time passing before you are greeted with another option. This option allows the user to decide if they want to meet their new neighbours or not. Depending on which choice they choose, they will be given one of two scenes after their choice. The first choice will result in them instantly being introduced to new characters. However the other choice will result in a confused response from the narrator, but will then advance you to the next scene.
I then took my initial storyboard and developed it a little more and in turn creating a more in depth board. This shows more detail of the options and what precedes them. The general visual style shown below is how I intend to design the final product by including real life edited images with simple text for the dialogue and options.

For my initial logo ideas, I went down two different routes for my favourite name ideas. For ‘Lets Be Nice’ I went for an 80’s style logo which is very bold and stands out. I also included two eyes in the logo, imitating how you are always being watched within the story.
For ‘Project Jovial’, I went down a more simplistic route, opting for simple typewriter text. This would be shown as if it’s been written on the front of a document. Although it is much simpler than ‘Lets Be Nice’, I feel this will work and look better in regards to connecting to the story and matching the aesthetics.

From my sketches, I quickly designed both logos digitally to show how they would look when finalised. Once again although ‘Lets Be Nice’ looks professional and more enticing, I still believe Project Jovial matches the aesthetics and theme of the story initially.
