I intend to use a combination of Adobe XD and YouTube videos to display the story, however the use of Elementor on a WordPress site is another route I can take to achieve my desired effect. In addition to this I also have access to Twine which will be a succesful way of displaying a choice system. Although my knowledge on Twine is limited, it is something I’d like to explore if it will help me produce a better product.
The reason for initially choosing Adobe XD is that it allows me to create different scenes and frames on each art board and connect different assets to achieve the interactive aspect of the story. For example I can connect ‘Yes’ to one art board and send the story down a ‘positive’ route, as well as connect ‘No’ to a different board that would send the user down a different route within the story.
Below I have demonstrated in simple terms how Adobe XD would be a suitable choice when producing this story. I have shown how from a two option scene, the user would be directed down a new path within the storyline as a result of their choice. In addition, these choices can also link back to each other later on within the story (such as the ending).

To help with time management, I have created a rough timeline plan for how I want to approach development. This is not a strict schedule as some aspects will take longer than others but it is good to have as a rough guide to make sure the story is finished on time.

As seen in the above timeline, I am following a week by week schedule. The tasks are generalised however should cover all bases when it comes to completing the project. They are all in order of importance since the script for example has to be finished as much as possible before producing the videos.
