
Above is the fully textured dance machine. This was two sections to texture; the screen and the dance floor.
The dance floor was created by making 5 blocks with custom graphics onto them to correspond with the inputs for the game, as well as an added design to the borders of these. The screen is just a simple idle screen that would be displayed when no one is directly using the product.
One thing I would definitely change when creating this again is making the speakers on the side of the TV, real assets that are slightly extruded past the base, to add more depth. However on my product I have just created a 2d image for them and placed them correctly on the side.

This is the air hockey machine fully rendered and textured. Most of the machine has been coloured using the standard colour options in Maya LT. however the pitch was designed specially externally by me to represent a pitch for the game to be played on. The machine has a sci-fi colour way of an electric blue and a light grey which I think fits the machine well.
The only changes I think I would make to the design is to possibly make the puck mallets correspond in colour to the machine, possibly by making them blue as I feel once rendered, the red doesn’t fit with the overall design. I think I would also try and find a better way to create the goals as they don’t aesthetically look professional, even though they would operate perfectly.
